Introduction

Are you ready to step into the industry and work with welding and assembly tasks in both small and large industrial projects throughout Sweden? Professionals Nord collaborates with Empe Rör to provide you with a safe and structured start in the role of a welding assembler.

Through an introductory program that combines guidance, practical application, and gradual deepening, you will have the opportunity to build the right skills for the role. After the introductory period, you will begin your assignment at Empe Rör – a company that works with comprehensive commitments and long-term industrial projects.



Information about the position

Professionals Nord is conducting this initiative in collaboration with Empe Rör to meet the industry's need for new welding assemblers.

You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Empe Rör for at least 18 months. Provided that the collaboration works well, the goal is for the employment to subsequently transition to Empe Rör.

Information about the introductory period

The introductory period is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to feel secure in the role of a welding assembler. The program consists of guided moments, practical application, and personal deepening.

During the period, you will be introduced to:

  • Welding technology and industrial assembly
  • Assembly of piping systems in industry
  • Work according to drawings, instructions, and safety requirements
  • Safety, quality, and working methods in an industrial environment
  • Work in both smaller assignments and larger industrial projects
  • Collaboration in project teams and work on site

Timeline for the introductory period
  • Preparatory period: May 4 – May 29
  • Introductory block 1: June 1 – July 3
  • Deepening period: July 6 – July 24
  • Practical days at the workplace: August 17–19
  • Introductory block 2: July 27 – September 11

There is an opportunity for study support throughout the entire introductory period.

About Empe Rör

Empe Rör is a growing industrial company with its headquarters and workshop in Hagfors. The company has developed in recent years from delivering individual parts to taking responsibility for comprehensive concepts and larger industrial projects, contributing to strong growth.

Empe Rör works with a broad industrial base with assignments ranging from the pharmaceutical industry to sewage and process plants. The business is characterized by a strong focus on safety, long-term customer relationships, and project-based work throughout Sweden. The industrial operation is the company's largest part, complemented by plumbing operations in Hagfors.



Information about the role – Welding assembler

As a welding assembler at Empe Rör, you will primarily work with welding and assembly of piping systems in an industrial environment. The work often takes place in project form and together with a colleague at the customer's site.

Examples of tasks:

  • Welding and assembly of piping systems in industry
  • Work according to drawings, instructions, and safety requirements
  • Collaboration in project teams on site
  • Ensuring quality, functionality, and a safe working environment

Travel is included in the position. Work usually follows a 40-hour work week, where travel often occurs from Monday to Thursday, but also from Monday to Friday can occur. Accommodation can be in a caravan, hostel, hotel, or in an apartment or house for longer projects.

You preferably start from Hagfors/Karlstad and work on assignments throughout Sweden.
In the long term, there are good opportunities for long-term development within the company.



We are looking for someone who
  • Is at least 18 years old
  • Has a high school diploma
  • Has a strong interest and motivation to work in the industry
  • Holds a B driver's license
  • Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Has passed tests
  • Has passed a background check
  • Enjoys traveling for work
